This audio fades into your personal background in the same way that lighting softens your home to create balance. Each track in the three hour collection is exactly 10 minutes, so you can also use Tonepaper as a discreet “timer” for activities like yoga, studying, meditation, or simply adding serenity to your environment. For a 60 minute session, just create a six-track curated playlist. For 90 minutes, use nine tracks.

Tonepaper™ for Ableton

Tonepaper Channels includes all of the original Instrument Racks used to create the Tonepaper 1 album, so if you’re a musician or producer looking to add these same textures and ambiences to your own tracks, you can purchase the exact channels to serve as a starting point for composition.

Ranging from custom Operator and Collision presets to Ableton’s own Grand Piano, treated with specialized EQ, reverb, and atmospheric processing, Tonepaper Channels* covers every audio element used to construct the album.

The channels are delivered as simple .adg files in a single folder, so all you have to do is drag-and-drop the folder into your personal Ableton User Library and you’re ready to create your own musical experiences for film, video, gaming, or original ambient artwork.

*Tonepaper Channels requires Ableton Live Suite 10, with the Grand Piano collection installed.

Tonepaper™ for Serum

If you’re producing with Xfer Serum on a different platform, Tonepaper is also available as a custom Serum pack that includes many of the same atmospheres from the Ableton pack, but reformatted for Serum—the #1 softsynth on earth.

In addition to sounds from the album, Tonepaper™ for Serum includes dozens of additional cinematic and ambient textures that make use of Serum’s extensive wavetable and filtering resources. Enhancing Serum’s industry-leading wavetable synthesis, the pack also integrates a vast array of custom sample layers, created using complex physical modeling tools and embedded into the presets.

As with all of our Serum packs, every preset also features four intelligent macros that deliver precise and consistent control over attributes like motion, envelope, spectra (tone), ambient processing, and our original XFORM parameter that radically transforms the timbre of each sound. These parameters let you customize your sounds for a wide range of electronic genres that go beyond ambient—including melodic techno, progressive, and soundtrack production.

Tonepaper™ Rings

Not everyone leaves their phone on mute.

When it comes to the sound of your phone alerts, your choices are generally your favorite song—or an iconic marimba pattern.

Tonepaper Rings extends the Tonepaper aesthetic to your ringtone, text and calendar alerts, or text messages. Subtle, sophisticated, and simple sounds that give your phone the same type of sonic identity that your home screen provides visually.

Available for both iPhone (.m4r) and Android (.mp3), Rings is a set of 50 unobtrusive tones that can be assigned to your most important apps and alerts. Just follow the standard import steps for your phone’s OS and then customize based on your tastes.
